How to Install a Wall Sconce

1. Start by choosing the wall sconce’s position( above an outlet) and mark the spot with a piece of painter’s tape recording. also, use a super stud finder to insure that the super studs land within the same super stud bay as the outlet. 13. Using the line strippers, remove 1 inch of sequestration off the new cables sticking out of the outletbox.However, attach the cables coming from the switch to the two empty screws on the outlet

Attach the black line to the gold screw.
Attach the white line to the white screw.
Cut a spare piece of bobby line, roughly 5 elevation long( this is called a cornrow).
Remove the bobby line from the outlet and unbend the end.
Twist the three bare bobby cables together and limit them with a line connector.
Bend a hook in the free end of the cornrow, place it over the green superstud on the switch, and strain it.

Cut three lacings of line; one black, one white, and one bare. Strip the ends.
Remove one set of cables from the outlet and bend their ends straight.

Bend hooks in the free ends of the lacings and wire them to the outlet. line the black line to the gold screw, the white line to the white screw, and the bobby line to the green screw.
